MV Eidsvaag Sirius

The M V Eidsvaag Vinland has been crewed and managed by Norcon Marine since 2012. It’s role has been to transport salmon feed from New Brunswick to a valued customer on the South Coast.

A few weeks ago a Norcon crew sailed the vessel across the Atlantic to Norway. Most of crew members are flying back home to Newfoundland this week – Congratulations to them all for a job well done !

The Vinland is being replaced by a newer vessel the M V Eidsvaag Sirius. The Sirius, which is more modern and has larger capacity than the Vinland will be sailed to Newfoundland and enter service in the late spring. Ship’s officers from the Vinland have remained in Norway for a few days to undergo training on new vessel equipment.
